They are playing nothing like tippy tappy that Notts do or did under NA at Notts

Yeah it's more of a hybrid approach, playing out from the back at times but also going more direct down the channels and to Hudlin at others, to keep the opposition guessing. It's what we should have been doing more.

I saw signs in some games towards the end of the season that we were mixing it up a bit more, but not enough to avoid getting us into trouble against the teams that can exploit our mistakes.

3-1 mountain to climb for Chessie, now.

Perhaps the Solihull owner isn't dictating what style of football to play

Chessie look like a beaten side who've totally run out of ideas. Get the big lads on and play ScudBall is my advice. Moors aren't a particularly big side.

Think we just have to accept we let a good manager go because of supporter pressure and the rest is history. NA brought in RR and CR. Nothing like them since and our performances in the playoffs have been worse under IB too. Shambles comes to mind

Good to see Solihull and Grimsby doing well in the playoffs.
Just shows throwing money around like Rectum and Chessie doesn't generally work. I expect Chessie will struggle next season. Not sure about Rectum.

Yup that's Wrexham and Chesterfield who have both spent huge and not even reached the playoff final.

I'm sure Wrexham will go again next season, maybe even double down financially and will start favourites but Chesterfield, not so sure?

We always know not all the 3 big spenders could go up and it turns out only 1 did, only Stockport's gamble paid off.
