People often say, If you're good enough, you're old enough.

I also think if you're good enough, you're young enough.

It's that simple, if they're fit and improve the team then that's all that matters. I think if anything we've missed having a few more old heads in the team during the seasons in the championship.

Tell me players we've signed aged 30 or over good enough for the championship while we've been at the NYS? Hoping Washington will be. There might be some I can't remember all players we've signed in that time.

That doesn't defeat the argument that over 30s aren't good enough for the Championship. That would merely suggest we haven't recruited the correct ones. The point about over 30s being able to play in the Championship would still be valid...

No need for the Errr there I do get your point.

    I can't but that doesn't mean it won't happen.

The experience they bring is crucial don't you think?
I know you dont like him but I though Grigg was largely influential last season.

If you have a game style where you let the ball do the work then maybe 30 isn't too much of a barrier.

But with a high press, high energy tactic it's probably more restricting.

We're on same wavelength. Also I've said we don't get championship standard players of that age so we're double restricted.

I think experience is the most overused word in football, I think it's not as important that people make out to be. The only problem with having too many old heads is that they add no value to squad in terms of assets for possible sale and for a club our size we need to buying and selling on for profits if we gonna be competing at this level.
