One basis of population you would expect at least once every 250 epsisodes should have been.
Can’t ever recall it being here.
    Don't think so.

Newsnight used to do a regular feature on the town though, celebrating it's diversity, until the news came out about you-know-what.

I meant the panel Grist, not the audience.

Yes but both are carefully chosen.

To get a feel for the BBC agenda for the North just watch Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams

Just checked, this is the second time in Barnsley, been to Doncaster 3 times and Sheffield 9 times.

    Never been to Rotherham.

Although I may be misremembering it, but wasn't there an episode from the Magna Centre? They've probably counted it as Sheffield if so.

I can't recall it ever coming to the town either. As you would expect the location most commonly used to film Question Time is London and after that they have tended to film mostly in Cities. As second city, Birmingham has featured very regularly. As a general rule, cities furthest from London tend to get visited less often. And there does not seem outside London, Birmingham and Manchester to be any correlation between size of population and frequency of being chosen as a location.
Way down the pecking order come Northern Towns.

Stopped watching that show during Brexit, where every programme, Brexit supporters on the panel, were heavily outnumbered by remoaners.Well unrepresented, where the majority of the nation was pro Brexit as was proven later.Much to the displeasure of the BBC.

Alastair Campbell on his Remainiac campaign tour. The BBC will have struggled to find many of his supporters in Barnsley. But don't worry they'll have managed it !!
