Record temperatures are like Ramsay travel bookings and dab season tic sales......record every year....without fail.

After all the MSM are now reporting that some 'scientists' are predicting deaths because of the heat and are demanding a pandemic style response.

On a similar subject. Heard on one news report that people are burning floor boards and furniture (Presumably pianos) to keep warm because they can't afford to heat their homes. Next report says it could be 40C later this week.

What do these people take us for?
On the BBC weather forecast on Sunday it was stated scientists are blaming global warming for the current heatwave.
Heatwaves happen nearly every summer in the U.K. and particularly in the South East of England.
Amazingly there was no mention of global warming during the long hot summers of 1975 and 1976. Back then global warming had never been discovered or dreamt up.

You forgot to mention the hole in the ozone layer which was another crisis but now we never hear anything about it.

A couple of weeks ago was a programme on TV about the summer of 1976. It showed adverts at the time encouraging people to drink fizzy drinks to keep hydrated.
Nearly everyone in the news reports in 1976 looked thin.
Now 46 years later the politicians have told the fizzy drinks companies to reduce the sugar content of their drinks and people are still fat.
