The level of play by Norway tonight is case in point, it’s embarrassingly dismal.

If this is worthy of peak TV time then so is Stourbridge’s pre season friendly at Boldmere St Michael tomorrow night.

Some of the goals last night would give players like Phillips, Grant and Hugill a lesson in finishing!

Prime time TV - all rubbish on television but each to their own. Who watches Coronation Street as that’s prime time!

Many schools are now playing girls football and why shouldn’t they! Women who knock it are bitter they weren’t allowed to have a go. It’s 2022 for f uck sake,

We will be saying soon men shouldn’t clean in the house or do the ironing!

The atmosphere at the games have been like a carnival so better for families so good on them.

Women’s tennis does not have the stamina of mens tennis but still good. Aspiring girl tennis players will want to mainly watch girls tennis rather than mens though to cheer their heroes ie Emma Radacanu,

It doesn’t deserve prime time BBC1 though.

Pathetic watching a great player like Ian Wright acting as if he’d seen the next coming of Messi after that first half.

This is exactly the problem with this country nowadays, we get fed this bull s h I t and wokeism and we’re expected to join in.

I won’t, this football is garbage, anyone who says different is kidding themselves.

The USA ladies team are the best in the world but I read somewhere tonight where the USA under 15 male side had absolutely annihilated them in a competitive match.

I enjoy women’s athletics because they are within around 10% of the men’s performances but the football is a million miles away.
Sorry yes I misread it. I still think it is interesting about standards though. I each year go to Hartlepool to watch at least one match and let’s be honest 5he standard is poor. That said doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy going and enjoy it for what it is. Honest endeavour by blokes trying there best, although miles away from PL standard as well.

I only switched it on when we were 6-0 up before half time and decided to watch the half time review to see the goals.

What a big mistake. Glad they didn’t show a close up of Ian Wrights trousers because he was getting so excited can’t imagine what they would have looked like. Ridiculous. Didn’t bother to watch the second half.

I agree with mick. There is absolutely nothing wrong with women playing any sport and fans watching it if that is their wish. The problem is the fact that the media is 'ramming it down our throats' and giving it far too much air time than the product warrants. I happened to be watching Sky Sports this morning and they were talking about last night's game on the 'Europe 22 Bus'. What an absolute load of rubbish was being talked! An absolute waste of time. Yes mick, I also understood that an American Under 15 side beat the USA World Cup winners and that says it all. In fairness, to my mind, the standard of women's cricket is far higher than the football.

I also don't understand why women should receive the same Wimbledon prize money when they play two less sets. To me, that's not equality.

Simple. Buy TVs with more than one channel. Problem solved.

I should clarify, I rarely if ever watch TV football either male/female anymore.
If a match of interest then usually I'll listen to it on low on radio.
A pyss poor game is a pyss poor game be it male or female.

Exactly!! If you don't want to watch the woman's world cup go watch Coronation Street which is also prime time TV. Thousands of girls football teams ( one local to us ) are enjoying these matches so good for them.

As for women's tennis ( my daughter plays ) many girls who play tennis will have a girl hero ie Emma Radacanu for example to aspire to and cheer on. Why would they prefer men's tennis when they play girls tennis? Granted if you are a woman and you don't play tennis or never really played tennis then you might prefer to watch the men.

Some of the goals last night were excellent so credit where it's due. I don't think any West Brom fan is in a position to slate the poor quality of football in general when our club served up absolute w ank football last season. Nobody could not convince me there are no better players in league 1 or 2 than Reach, Livermore, Phillips and Zohore who are f uckin useless. More desire and skill with some of the Harrogate players than these misfits.

If you want to talk about quality difference than perhaps we should look at the Premier League and West Brom under Bruce - it was the difference between a good Premier team and a League 1 team the quality was so vast between the two it was astonishing.

    Women’s football is rubbish.
