It’s a pity that Sunak has so much baggage with his personal tax situation and that he’s wedded to high taxation.
His lack of understanding of the struggles of the average person and his wife’s “Non Dom” status have ruined his chances.
He’s probably the best and most polished candidate but......!
He's the only one with the guts to say we can't have tax cuts now. Not for 1 minute do I profess to understand economics at the level necessary to know if you can cut tax and grow sufficiently to cover the shortfall but every independent expert I heard plus my gut feeling says you can't. Agree totally with your but.
She's not the favourite but I have a feeling our next PM might just be Truss
The Muppet Show!? Robus is the protagonist…
But the guts not to have tax cuts will not help those on the floor for no fault of their own ie working hard for the minimum wage and huge increases of cost which can’t be covered by the household. I am OK but feel for those who are not!! Why would Sunak give £400 of energy help to those who can survive - I just don’t get it!
The fuel, energy and food crisis does not cripple those who can ride it out but those who can’t need help immediately. The alternative is shop lifting and rioting and huge debt which will never be repaid.
For that w anker Sunak to say worrying times for us ALL is an insult! Sunak if becoming the PM will mean Mrs Non Dom will restart her millions of pounds worth of interests in Russia and Sunak will have a love in with the mass murderer.
Then some rattled on about Johnson’s wine parties!!! You really can’t make it up!
Politician's are so badly paid that they now have to claim as expenses on........Amazon Premium £79.
Sadly, I think that Sunak is probably the one with the best level of experience and knowledge to deal with the economic issues facing us all. Yes, he is a slimy toad with a non Dom wife and so much money that he cannot possibly really understand the hardships most people face but he is the best person /Muppet for the job at hand. I like a lot of what Badenoch says on culture (if not all her views) but whatever you think about woke, the core problem facing the country is the economy not self identity, trans rights etc. Much prefer Mordaunt overall as she is more centrist but, like the others, she comes across as lacking the experience for the big job. Truss just continues to go down in my estimation the more she opens her gob and Tugendhat is out of his depth.
