The burning of peat on an industrial scale is used to make peated and heavily peated whisky despite it being a well known fact the peat keeps the planet cool.
Gardeners are being told not to purchase potting compost which contains peat to stop climate change.
Prince Charles should have known about the damage his beloved heavily peated single malt whisky is causing to the planet but he does nothing about it.
Prince Charles should be advising people to stop drinking peated and heavily peated scotch whisky and instead drink unleaded whisky to stop Climate Change.

He's single handedly responsible for the plume of black reek spewing from every distillery on Islay. Or is it just steam that's coming out? We'll never know because the old man refuses to say what colour it actually is.

Three weeks ago I was on the ferry sailing into Port Ellen when ahead you could see the smoke belching out of the chimneys at the Maltings in Port Ellen.
I was sitting beside two Ileachs (people born and bred on Islay) who I both knew personally from my days as a member of Islay Golf Club.
One of them turned and said to me “The Maltings are burning good Islay peat”.
