    Have we improved under Gerrard ?

    Name a single player Gerrard has improved since his appiontment – Ramsey's star was in the ascendency long before the mercurial Liverpudlians arrival

    As an annotate why did he take Douglas Luiz off Sunday Stevie Wonder could have seen McGinn wasn't exactly ripping up trees

    Throwing on Cameron Archer with 180 seconds left is bewildering

    Awful and as much as I love my trips down to Villa park I came away deflated and frustrated with a horrible feeling of what a waste of my hard earned cash that was 🤬

    Shocking late subs and everyone around me couldn’t believe how Bailey wasn’t on pitch sooner and what a complete waste of time it was giving Archer 3 mins..

    Bailey , Ramsey, buandia and Archer have got to start tomorrow imo

    Not usually one for calling for a manager head so soon but SG is making it seriously hard to keep the faith isn’t he and his poor tactics and subs is doing my head in now and can’t see anything but two heavy defeats coming either 🤷*♂️🥲

    So many questions again freer;

    More Lord High Executioner

    Have we improved under Gerrard ?

    No, we are no better, or worse. Players with more skill, but less football intelligence

    Name a single player Gerrard has improved since his appiontment – Ramsey's star was in the ascendency long before the mercurial Liverpudlians arrival

    I believe that Ramsey’s star was exaggerated, ignited, and fanned by the “one of our own” tag, straight after Jack's departure. Very good finisher, but poor defensively, and distribution. Cash has improved.

    As an annotate why did he take Douglas Luiz off Sunday Stevie Wonder could have seen McGinn wasn't exactly ripping up trees

    No idea, but the two previous managers wouldn’t sub McGinn either. Managers seem to forgive head down, poor control, and distribution, for distance covered.

    Throwing on Cameron Archer with 180 seconds left is bewildering

    Still scratching my head over that one. He, who can do no wrong, Ollie (another distance-covered club member), gets an obscene amount of game time. As he did under ‘Pep’ Smith.

    Comparisons to Arteta would be ok IF there was a visible plan/style of play, which Arteta had from the start, it just took a bit of time and a weeding out of personnel who couldnt cut it, there was a plan under SG till about the end of November, then it all went to **** that has to be on SG, he calls the shots he has to take the bullet, Purslow as the selector is on shaky ground to I feel, Lange definately couldnt pick the cabbage to throw at the dugout much less the squad, those 3 imho need to go immediately followed by any players without the necessary talent for whomever the new gaffer is. I said elsewhere, forget the usual names, they arnt coming to this current s**tshow, look to the dutch and german leagues for consistantly improving managers with a playing style that is visible.
