Makes my predictions a whole lot easier.
I said half in jest we are in for a relegation battle.
Looks about accurate now with this squad.
We looked nailed on draw specialist and that means relegation battle.

Let’s hope ( here and now ) the Salford kid can show he’s better than Robinson.

So back to - who will score the goals to get us promoted like Mitrovic did for Fulham? Clearly Grant is not a number 9 so will it be the Salford kid? Due to the shocking lack of minutes for TGH do we honestly expect Bruce to try the Salford kid? If not or even a 4-4-2 - then Bruce should shut the f uck up about missing easy chances every single game and think why!!

As for Bartley back - God help us!!! Preferred Kipre to be honest!
So Bruce didn’t want Clarke? How do you know that. Average Championship player imo but how come that is Bruce’s fault?

Absolutely agree we need someone to score the goals but again do you really think Bruce doesn’t want a new striker? What Manager wouldn’t with our squad.

My point is yes criticise when he makes the decisions but sometimes the Manager can’t do what he wants.

By the way have a read Brendan Rogers comments about his owner at Leicester, or the now sacked Scott Parker at Bournemouth about his owner. It ain’t just us. Football is dependent upon ever increasing support from the owner, plus Sky money. We are stuffed with Lai as owner and in my opinion no chance of anything changing until he goes.

Forget automatic promotion. In my opinion it doesn’t matter who the Manager because he isn’t going to get on the end of crosses and score goals for us either. I certainly wouldn’t have a bet on us being top 6 either.

Would rather have Clarke over Ajayi or Bartley and in my opinion a snip at 2.5 million. Do the maths we spent 15 million a piece on Grant and Grady and would be lucky to get five million a piece!

So should every team forget promotion who are not Watford, Burnley or Norwich? Luton and Coventry played far greater football last season than us with less resources! Why! Those Derby players ran themselves ragged to try and survive for Rooney! They nearly did!

Brentford were not any more progressive than us five years ago! There’s a huge gap now and it’s called good ownership and management!

If Bruce played the Salford kid tonight and he was not great then there’s no expectation and he’s given it a shot. Play the team team booed off at Wigan and Bruce comes out with his classic - we should have converted those chances. Well he can go f uck himself!

As for Bruce not wanting a striker - come on Andy Carroll would still be a better option than anybody at the moment who is not a recognised number 9 and a league 2 kid!

The pocketed Cardiff fee tells the story of the club!

Scott Parker at least had the bollox to tell his Board what he thought! Bruce would not do the same to his mate Gourlay and here lies some of the problem!! Bruce will wait for yet ANOTHER pay off first!

I agree that you cannot blame Bruce for everything and a good transfer window very much depends on having the funds available which we clearly have not. This is not Bruce's fault. We have had poor recruitment which, again, is not all down to him. We all know that having Lai as an owner is the root cause of many of our problems...BUT Bruce is paid to be a manager and any managers ' job is to make the best uses of the resources available to him to achieve the best results possible. His decisions on who to play or not play, on tactics and formation and his general management skills (e.g. communication, leadership, team-building, can-do attitude, flexible thinking, planning etc) will very much determine success on the pitch or not. Of course we don't know what is really going on behind the scenes but any criticisms of him on these fronts seem justifiable to me.

Totally agree Omegstrat as his selections and substitutions are often bizarre and make no sense!
