The Mighty Bruce said: “I’m so frustrated and disappointed.

“We haven’t started the game again, which is proving to be a real problem for us this season.

“I think it’s about the seventh or eighth time we’ve been a goal down in the early stages of a match this season.

“We gave ourselves a mountain to climb by going a goal down and by not doing any of the basics well enough in the early stages.

“I can understand the frustration at the end of the day because we haven’t won a game again, despite having several opportunities to do so.

“Defensively we have to be better, and I’m not just talking about the defenders or the goalkeeper, I’m talking about everyone individually and all of us as a team.

“Our defending for the second goal was poor. We’ve let the guy beat us and shoot from the edge of the area under no pressure at all. We must improve on that.

“We had a really good defensive record last year, but we also understood that we needed to be better going forward.

“Unfortunately we haven’t got the balance right. We can’t accept that we’re going to have to score two or three times in a game to win a match. That can’t happen.

“It could have been so different if our penalty goes in but that’s football, and at the moment, it’s tough.

“What we can’t argue about though is the fact we’ve won one game in 11. We can’t fluff anything up. We were probably unlucky again, but it’s all about winning a football match and we haven’t done that.”

I am sorry but I finally believe he should go now. After 15 minutes I said to my mate Rogic is way off the pace and Molumby needs to be on. He made that change a few minutes into the second half. Why could he not see the player was nowhere near up to speed when I could see it after a few minutes. Grant should not have taken the penalty. He had only touched the ball a couple of times and was trying to get into the game. Asante was playing really well and looked very confident on the ball. He also had scored his penalty against the Blues which he put away easily. We were getting done in the first half every time with a simple ball over the top. We gave them too much space and hardly won any of the second balls. It's time to end it now and he needs to go.

Near the end of last season I realised that Bruce would not get us into the playoffs for the following season (this season)
One of the many reasons for not renewing the season ticket.
Its not now whether we can get promoted but whether we can avoid going down.
He has no future here. its over surely.

Bruce’s Albion record: Played 30, Won 8, Drawn 11, Lost 11. In a Division where we are supposed to be one of the front runners. If he doesn’t get the sack ... then it tells you everything about Albion at the minute. A complete and utter S*** Show.

Say what you want , you wouldn't be in this position if you'd stuck with Val .

Remind me where you were in the league last season when you sacked him ?

We should have stuck with Bilic. We have an owner who knows f**k all about football.

The way it’s going it’s not just the owner who knows f*ck all about football. You’ve got to question both Fat Ron and Potato Head’s abilities at the mo.

Gourlay’s best days were at Chelsea……way way long ago! As for Bruce all this ‘he has a history of promoting sides in the Championship’. Again a long long time ago. He has no place in modern professional football!

Two dinosaurs who need to be cast into the bin of sh*t managers / administrators this club has had the misfortune to have had in recent times.

The club has become an embarrassment……it’ll not see my money until there is wholesale change from top to bottom!

Not normally one to give in to a knee jerk reaction but Bruce has had long enough now and his position is surely untenable. Certainly an awful lot of things that are wrong with the club he has no control over but he is simply not doing the job he is paid to do as the results clearly show.

Whilst not a patch on previous squads, I believe that this one-thin as it is-still has the quality/ability to be placed far higher as some of our performances have indicated. Team selection, tactics and leadership are down to Bruce. Any manager, in any field, is paid to get the best out of the resources available to them and Bruce is clearly failing in this regard. Time for him to go.

As for who we get next, I honestly do not know who we could attract/afford but cant be much worse! Like Ketts, I quite liked Bilic but hindsight is a wonderful thing plus, of course, the fans will have little say in the matter anyway.
