I suppose he is right but you can't play every tactic at once.

Words of a man who knows that despite splashing the cash, are not going to run away with the league, like they think they should be. I bet his presser after chessie game was similar. He would get far more respect if he had said "Notts came out all guns blazing, we coped well, came into the game the more it went on & failed to convert one of our chances. Notts are the best in the league"

It shows how inept he is tactically. A manager can’t ask the forward players to do a high press whilst asking the defence to do a ‘low block’… it creates to many gaps for the opposition to play out and our teams press would be pointless.
Liverpool play the same way in terms of high press and high defensive line. They got slated at times last season, but you can’t do both.
What the defenders have to be is positionally aware and in prime position to react when it looks like the ball over the top is on.

It's all deflection but if you think about it, he's also showing his and his team's own weaknesses. How did his £10k+ a week strike force fail to score against us if we are so bad at the back? Also, his £300k defender decided to leave the top scorer in England totally unmarked in the box. When you spend that kind of money on players, you expect them to turn up for big games

As Biffa said, the line the he comes out with, ''If we'd had taken our chances and they hadn't taken theirs, we'd have won'', applies to every game since the Stone Age, very apt for Jurassic Parkinson. When the Dorks turned us over, we spurned enough chances to win 3 games. In his PM, Luke praised Dorking for the way they had played. You'll never get those sentiments from him.

I'd play that interview of Parkinsons to LW and the players. If there's any motivation for us to put 100% into every game to shut him up and beat them to the title then that was it.

I have got alot of time for Wrexham fans in the main, they've done the hard yards but now I hope they lose. A lot.

That's not a bad idea at all. It was one-sided, it was a little disrespectful and it was great to watch if you aren't a Wrexham fan.

The high line allows us to press high up the pitch and suffocate teams like we did to Wrexham for 35 minutes. Sometimes teams will get in behind because of it, but it’s a trade off we’re happy to make.

It also means we are relying on the linesman sadly….I’m not sure Tue nights Lino was very good thankfully he didn’t cost us anything.
