    I remember being at the Aberdeen v Dundee Scottish Cup tie in January 1974 which was played on a Sunday with a 1.30pm kick off and there were over 20,000 at the game.
    I was at Ibrox in February 1974 when i think that the kick off was 2.30pm. There were 60,000 at the game including 10,000 Dundee supporters and we beat Rangers 3-0.

    Back then anyone would go on strike given half a chance.
