Far too many twists and turns to say what is going to happen yet. I think that almost all fans would have been happy with a top 3 spot at the start of the season. And I think that would still be a good achievement. With our small squad versus the big $ of Wrexham we are going to struggle to maintain the current level of intensity for another 7 months and injuries will turn up at some point.

Top would be a fantastic achievement obviously but tough.

    Top 3 looks achievable.

    Top 7 looks a certainty#4/6

I’m not disputing your point about where we will finish. However, our small squad has already had a number of injuries and coped. I also think that Notts will at some point strengthen if any of the injuries are significant. As it stands all positions are covered, with the exception of 3 key players IMO, I think we all know who they are and I wont name them due to fear of putting a jinx on any of them. For me any of these 3 would be irreplaceable if injured.

A win under the lights Friday night against Maidenhead would out us 4 points clear with the next 4 teams in the table all playing each other which is quite bizarre... should be fun to watch

Chesterfield (sone of whose fans still consider themselves as having the most difficult start) play the teams currently in 3rd, 5th and 7th places.

Wrexham, their next game aside, have a much easier run. Of all three, we have the easiest next 3 games imho.

I think if we're in this position after another 10 games then the reedtz would be happy fund a signing or two as long as they align with their overall aims.

Yeah you’d hope so. Wrexham fans seem very confident based on their superior purchasing power through the season while forgetting that a) we might have a few quid to spend as well and b) we’re much better at spending what we have than they are.

Fingers crossed that the concerns are unfounded.
Let's see how things pan out eh. Baldwin & Taylor appear to be back in training, so that leaves us with just o'b out for a period.

As you say, fingers crossed we can navigate winter without too many injuries.

Would be even better if we beat Maidstone
