Watched the game on Sky, Sunderland looked the better team but failed to score.

How Pawson failed to give the penalty to Sunderland I do not know, then Blackburn score from the breakaway. I also thought that Blackburn's second goal could have been disallowed for offside.

Exactly what a lot of my refereeing friends said about both incidents. Mind you, what do they know? Most fans say that officials are terrible no matter how good they are.

I don't like to judge referees since they don't have slow motion replays we see when they have to make their decision, but that tonight that Pawson missed was so obvious.

However, so far this season I have seen some extremely cynical tackles that should have seen a red card, but in some cases the referee did not even acknowledge the foul. As an example, the treatment dished out to Benson at Watford. If these types of tackles are not punished at the time it may lead to a player getting a career ending injury. The fact is it is a form of bullying, I don't think they would have ever tried a challenge like that on Roy Keane or Joey Barton.

If they give us 6.5k (realistic amount) then its an extra £32,500. Still it's a joke any club not taking up the offer of a £25 cap in the current economic climate.

Can't see the Blackburn bizzies wanting 6500 Burnley fans descending on Deadwood b_b.

wouldn't be too surprised if they have us bussed in for the reverse fixture... any incident at the turf or nearby and will likely be the case
