Are the backbench 1922 committee running the Wolves manager search?

So we should hear something tomorrow? Before the Millwall match?

I suspect so. It would seem that the new man as already been appointed with a 10 year contract and the great unveiling should take place tomorrow.

Maybe Lai will appoint a new manager from the Chinese League? Would probably be very cheap, like most things that come out of China but would fit in well with how our team plays the game, across the pitch instead of up and down it!

He was assistant manager to Gerrard at Glasgow Rangers and Villa. He's top dog at QPR and was widely rumoured to be the brains behind the operation at G Rangers and Villa.

The last appointment happened quickly having been chosen from a list of one. I'd prefer it if we got the right one this time so if it takes time then so be it.

A damning indictment of Ron Gourlay is that he still hasn't stocked the board with 'footballing knowledge' or even a Director of Football to support a new manager or run the search to find one.

Dereliction of duty in my honest opinion. While I could see the logic of appointing Bruce he should have retired instead of coming to us. Having come to us we should have parted ways in the summer given he effectively flopped the job interview last season.

Is it the time for the Noses to stale their claim?

New manager should be named after we lose to Millwall surely? Something to latch on to.
