    You are correct, Outwood, they were called that because the sea was full of turtles.

    Sadly they were over hunted/ fished and there has been a turtle farm on Grand Cayman for years. They work on protecting the species and release turtles into the wild. They protect the eggs and the nest from predators.

    I studied law at Manchester University Swiss and graduated in 1973. I am still in touch with quite a few of the class of ‘73 and we will be getting together for a 50th re-union in Manchester next year.

    Brilliant, Outwood. I graduated in 1974 and specialised in Equity & Trusts, Revenue Law and Company Law in the offshore world. A fantastic life and I have never regretted reading law. It has opened so many doors for me.
