Thread: Are we doing better without ASM

    I've wondered similar.

    However, i think we are much better in attack with him - even if Murphy does follow Howe's plans possible more.

    I think our back 5 is strong enough to support one another even if ASM is attacking forward and not going back as much as Murphy.

    Either way, he shouldn't just walk back into the team (not that I think Howe will) if we're still winning games with Murphy in line up.

    ASM is the top dribbler in the PL and a real impact player. He is a fantastic asset for Eddie to use but perhaps not as a starter in every game. He’s a tremendous player to bring on if you need a goal or an outlet to remove the pressure when holding on for a win or draw.

    I’m really looking forward to seeing him, Isak and Wilson on the pitch at the same time - let’s see if he manages to provide those assists that he promised.
