I honestly think it will be a relegation battle Jonny. Whilst Bruce was s hit clearly you can’t blame it all on him. I blame the cowardly players!

For Beale to say Bartley is excellent - restore Grant and say Livermore is a fantastic influence on the players. What a complete and utter idiot!

Ultimately, the blame lies full square with the wretched Lai, the ghastly little creature.

Sorry but the man is an idiot, he’s making Bruce look like Guardiola.
I think you may be right, Grant is not a centre forward, Wallace is a winger FFS he got the basics so wrong today it is scary!

You have given Corberan three days and one game. He will pick senior players first to see how they perform.
If he keeps picking the same side and the same formation I would worry, but he won't.
We have only been relegated once to the third tier in our history.
Once was one time too many, it won't happen again.

What a transformation Des, you have become an optimist! Corboran may well keep us in the Championship but there is also the possibility that he may not; 50/50 I reckon, and that is optimism!

Yes I agree it was. But he has been there two days and this was his first game. He would want to see how his senior players and high earners perform. Could you imagine if he had omitted the old guard and played a younger side having just got there?
Now nobody in yesterday's team can't complain if they aren't in the side for the next game, he gave them that chance to impress him.
As for the formation he is known to be a 442 or 433 man. But I would think he asked the players where they feel the most comfortable playing, and said okay, go out and show me what you can do.
Those who have worked with him and know him say he is very abrupt, has no favourites, and are out if they don't do things his way. He has brought his own backroom staff for a reason.
To criticise him after 48 hours and one game is a bit fickle even for Albion fan's.
If he persists with the same players and formation I will agree we are heading for league one, but I don't think he will.
Yesterday's result has shown him the task he faces, a win would have probably been the worst result in regards to what he saw.
He comes highly rated by the likes of Bielsa and Guardiola, so he can't be a complete mug.
This season is all about survival and hopefully a comfortable mid table finish, then reassess and rebuild, providing he gets the backing.
But he turned Huddersfield around, saving them from relegation and then getting them into the play offs the following season on a shoestring.
Even if we did go down I would keep him, we have got a young and hungry one and not a dinosaur, we can't keep changing managers.
