Thinking about it, with the work load our medics have it’s probably a good thing to offload Ogbene to another medical team especially when it’ll be free.

Just why are we cancelling all games in the championship?

Not many championship players directly involved in the World Cup

Plus it gives an excuse for the other teams not involved to organise meaningless friendlies

I thought that, but the problem is you only need 1 team in the championship with 3+ players called up and they'd either have to have all their games postponed, or be forced to play without what is probably 3+ of their best players.

It would have a massive impact on the integrity of the league, where the prize for promotion is worth £100m+.

In league 1 it looks like there's only 1 team that has 3 current international players.

In the championship, half the teams have at least 4 internationals, with Watford and Norwich having 8 and 7, all with higher chances of getting called up.

Plus the unfair advantage to the club's who do play. The ones that dont They would have to make up 4 maybe 5 games. So like our grueling run last time in the championship. Sat, tue, sat, for a few month.
