As for “real opposition”......if we did manage to beat France the same criticism would likely then be made if we beat Morocco I presume?

Not from me about Morocco, I have on here very early on stated that they are very dangerous.

But, that would not apply for Iran, the US, ”those from the valleys” and Senegal without Mané.

In all WCs (and similar) there are easy draws and the opposite.

So we agree on not ”every country” earn their right to participate too, maybe…

Portugal were unlucky in that they came so close on more than a few occasions but pleased for Morocco and they fought well for their win. Nice to see more than a few upsets this world cup! (and no sympathy for Ronaldo either)
