Good news at last. It certainly won't be a quick fix (the logistics of getting the tanks to front lines and of how they can be fitted in with the other necessary military support to be effective) but it clearly has the Kremlin rattled. Putin s supporters quick to blame the West of escalating the war into a direct attack on Russia and raising the ghosts of the Nazi invasion of their country with Germany.

Certainly large proportions of Ukrainians stood by if not actively helped the Nazi mass killing of Jews and others in Ukraine during WW2 but it is now Russian forces who are behaving like Nazis and obviously the Kremlin has neatly forgotten the similarly murderous regime under Stalin. Prior to the war, Ukraine recognized as one of the most corrupt countries in the world but Zelensky is happily still working on that even in these difficult times of war. Just hope that the as yet muted anti Putin displays in Russia itself continue to grow as I think he will only ultimately be stopped from within.
