    Hope so Mick!

Notice that I said COULD go up!
He will have a buy out clause, which knowing us is probably not very much.

I think sometimes people expect too much from players/managers. Leeds are a huge club with owners who will back him financially, they're already in the prem, he already has a connection there and knows many of the players. He'll definitely earn more there too - there's more resources and an ambitious manager would pick Leeds over us any day of the week.

If we don't go up this season there will be a firesale of our assets, and some years down the line our ground might be at risk. Where would you rather be?

If they come in for him, he'd be crazy not to go.

Also just to add, if he does go to Leeds he'll go with my blessing. He turned this season around from us being relegation contenders to promotion hopefuls. We now have a sniff of going up, which is crazy to think of considering we were bottom after his 1st game.

He's a talented manager and I expect to see him at a top 6 prem club in 5-10 years.

If Leeds do want him, he will go, I don’t think that there’s any doubt about it. That’s the reality of football these days. If we had a good owner who was investing in the club and backing the manager to the hilt, it might be different; however, we have Lai………..

Disagree! I know some Leeds fans at their stadium now and many want Corberan - he’s young - hungry and knows how they tick. Whether anyone likes to hear it or not - they are a huge club compared to us with ambitious owners.

If CC gets the nod - he would be a fool not to go! Loyalty means little when your money can be doubled! Why the hell would he want to stay anyway under Lai when there’s every chance the club will go into administration!

Nice compensation for Lai and Appleton is free at peanuts!!!

Leeds are a bad choice of club with hair trigger owners.

They waited almost two decades to get back in the top flight and had a fantastic fit as manager and a really good first season in the Prem and then fired him.

If I was Carlos I’d be going nowhere near that job at the moment.

Maybe it’s just me, I’m “old school”, if I ever set about a challenge at a job I always saw it through and showed due respect to the people who’s trusted me with the job.

I always departed on good terms having taken each job as far as I could, Carlos hasn’t yet done that.

I agree he has saved us but if he got us promoted it would be a long term feather in his cap and his stock would be even higher come the summer.

I think Leeds would’ve gone for Dyche if they’d acted two weeks earlier and I still think they’ll go for a big name or a proven escape specialist now.

Nuno would be a good fit for them at the moment.

If it’s about proven ability then this job would be a step up for the Brentford and Brighton managers as well.

There’s plenty of doors to knock before Corberan’s.

Only a fool would see through a challenge and forego an opportunity to get double or treble the money. Do we really think Graham Potter would be tearful if he was sacked as he would have a three year contract paid out! At the worst he would then get another job just as good as Brighton,

Same with CC - three year contract on a huge increase and what’s the worst - plenty of championship clubs as good as West Brom and the majority of them with better owners!

Wouldn’t blame CC one bit and unless we get promoted all the players will be sold around him or worse! There’s that to think about too!

A colleague of mine is a great Leeds fan and he reckons most Leeds supporters would be more than happy to have CC. Not only do Leeds know him and he them, but his achievements in turning ourselves around is pretty self-evident to all. Of course a lot of our previous problems were down to Bruce but no doubting CC's achievements. Part of me thinks that Coreberan would like to stick around long enough to see through what he started here but the Leeds opportunity may be too much a temptation for him. Rumours that Albion may improve his contract in efforts to retain him-you can just imagine how much difference that will make!! Really hope he stays but could hardly blame him if he did take the job if it was offered given the circumstances.

Nothing to lose for him like Potter - three year contract - huge club - piles of money and if things go wrong still bigger clubs than Chelsea or West Brom to snap them up. Sad but true!
