The whole ground needs a revamp.
Same location - but building a proper 30k seater stadium - because believe me we will need it in years to come.

30k wow , we've only had two crowds of 30k in my entire life that I've stood in and I'm 61 in May .

It's 30th anniversary since opening of East Stand this week a think. Jooa Pole did a good job.

A piece of loose cladding constitutes building a 30k new stadium apparently. Weerz money coming from

As you were Loko mi owd .
I noticed that the Supporters Trust felt the need to issue a self important "Statement" supporting the club's decision to temporarily close the East Stand.

It's a good effort from somebody because it would have been damn cold up there fixing that roof today.

With the snowfall here Arbs I'm surprised the remedial work got done at all. Full credit to them. Let's hope the match goes ahead on Saturday

I have not read anywhere any detail of the extent or location of the unsafe cladding.

Wayne and Jason could have re-fixed three or four panels in half an hour after a bacon sandwich from the Oakwell Sandwich Shop on Wednesday morning and drove off in their van to their next job.

The time will then have been taken up by an army of groups inspecting and signing off Wayne and Jason's work--the Club, Barnsley Council, Building Inspectors, Health and Safety, Safety Advisory Group, South Yorkshire Police etc holding a high level meeting for several hours, finally declaring Wayne and Jason's work satisfactory. The Club's media section then announce the result and Ahmad awaits the grateful thanks for his efforts.

Meanwhile Wayne and Jason, paid a fraction of the wages of those at the meeting, move onto their third job of the day.
