Used to love Tony Butler in BRMB! 😀 Anyone else remember Tony Trethewie when he was supposed to interview John Osborne after a match and after an awkward silence his voice came over the radio: "err..he's pissed off Tone! " 😂

We.ve given up with WM Since we now spend som time in Mid Wales, we've picked up on BBC Radio Shropshire. Absolutely nothing local for West Midlanders but how local radio was back in the day. Now they will struggle with the new BBC rationalsation of local radio stations - Same as happened with the local commercial stations being gobbled up by the big boys (BRMB, Beacon etc)

Our DAB radio never seems to make it to W when I retune it. Fortunately there are more digital radio stations out there than there are letters in the alphabet.

Although Franksie is most definitely representative of the letter 'W' he hasn't done too bad for himself given he's a former 'anchor' man..... and some may suggest he still is, the tosser.
