The wizend old soothsayer appears from the mist and beckons the fan over with her crooked finger.

"I bring a warning for those with a bearing of optimism, confidence and positivity. Beware the team from the land where chairs are made. Those be my words, that it be, that it be. Tread carefully at the place they call Adams Park."

With those words she cackles and disappears back into the mist clutching a print out of the latest Third Division table

All went well for the chasing pack last night. Adds a bit more importance to our result on Saturday.

I think we have the bottle for it but we are capable of putting in a no show. Heres hoping.

I have said before that ending up in the play offs from our current position is well & truly in our own hands , last nights results might have more significance for Bolton or even Derby than us , if we blow it then it is down to us & not what Wycombe or Peterboro do.

Much depends on the games in hand. If we do well then the advantage over the chasers will be almost insurmountable. Weve still got 36 points to play for so I hope we can accumulate enough for the play off berth if not better

I am convinced that arses at Oakwell will begin to clench and twitch if Wycombe beat us on Saturday and move just three points behind Barnsley.

    Something special might happen.

Our two rearranged games in hand are Exeter A (postponed due to weather) and Wednesday H (postponed due to Wed's FA Cup game). I wouldn't be certain about six points from those two games.

Me neither SB but 6 points would be nice. I would settle for 3 and hope more than anything we get them against the pigs.. Weve yet to see how our young team fare when the pressure screw is really turned. They seem to have bottle but who knows?
