    He resigned from the House of Lords before they removed him.
    The peerage is a separate matter.

    What gets me with these type of cases is, does the original Judge get a rollocking and have to re-train? Lots of other people in "other" jobs would have to.

    Or in 'high office' resign...but it never happens to the high rollers does it?

    No, it's to keep the financial juggernaut rolling for the legal people

    Loopholes or incorrect punishment so that further courts have to get involved
