    As above. Whilst I had no dealings with him he does seem to have been a stabilising influence over a turbulent period for the club.

    When I first saw the subject heading I was expecting to read that he had moved on to bigger and better things. Perhaps he has! R.I.P.

    This is a very sad day. My thoughts are with his family, friends and all the staff at Notts County. To many in the world of football, he has been the heart of Notts. He will be greatly missed.
    His devotion to Notts has been instrumental in their excellent profile and reputation.

    Cruel news. The club has been in good hands since his arrival, it’s a huge loss for NCFC.

    My deepest condolences to his family and friends. RIP Jason.

    Such awful news. There is no doubt that he's had a positive and stabilising effect on the club, and by all accounts was a lovely guy. 50 is far too young. Thoughts with his friends and family.

    Absolutely shocked by this, such a sad loss. Jason has been Notts rock for many years and brought us much needed stability.
