Basically threw this under this thread to save starting another one that doesn't involve us. ☺ But it seems only 3 or 4 weeks ago that Villa were one of the teams we were hoping to leapfrog when only a couple of points in front of us. They incredibly now sit 6th! Fair dues...a hell of a decent run from them.

They were clever enough to change their manager in good time whereas we waited until we were in the &hit, and nobody wanted to come.

Watched the games (this weeks and last) on MOTD (only way I get to see any of them!).....

Southampton are toast, they have no finishing, can't buy a goal, and don't create enough against any opposition to make it likely they ever will.

Everton, despite Dyche, seem to have imploded, no real fight, lack of structure, and learning from Southampton as to how not to score.

Leicester, Smith hasn't got a dressing room that's united, has injuries to key players (Barnes etc) and others with their chins on the turf (Maddison and others)

Of the rest (apart from LUFC), Spam & Forest are vulnerable, but as others have said, Spam will probably pull something out of the bag, if only to keep from being slaughtered by Moyes. Forest? Who knows, they swing back and forth from v good (especially if Johnson is on form) to poor (as they were against us).

Bournemouth, Palace, Wolves, gone, way too good to return to anywhere close to where we are, and with a coach/manager who knows what to do.

So let's hope that Southampton, Leicester & Everton remain as sh1te as they have been over recent weeks!

Any team that can string a few results together will have hope.of surviving.

It’s 18th I am most worried about - Liverpool is a free hit but then there are a few games after that where we need to pick up wins

I am starting to think that we will have just enough to escape the drop, which is a total contrast to when Ted was in charge and I really thought we had no chance of surviving.

Every game we have played since Gracia has been in charge, we have had really good opportunities to win all our matches, even Arsenal and Palace. Obviously we just need to out perform those team below us and I think we are more than capable of doing that now.

I just looked at the last games and I can only see one game we can get points off Leicester and we are doomed to f that up also.
    Liv loss
    Fulham Loss
    Leicester Win- Draw
    Bourney Loss
    City Loss
    Newcastle Loss
    West Ham Loss
    Spurs Loss
I don't see where some people see us getting points from?
I see already we are looking at players for next season eg Players no fees lol spells like they have given up. 49 ers come in have a fire sale to get some money back and well be traveling the little countryside. I'm already looking forward at the derby 49rs vs Ryan Reynolds Wrexham.

I'm with you oz, I can't see us getting more than 2/3 points, Leicester with vardy, maddisson, inneacho will tear us apart, we may scrape a draw against a couple of teams who might have an off day, but like many others I fear we're doomed.

They just need to take it one game at a time and focus on the present.

Our two biggest defensive weaknesses seem to stem from midfield not getting back - a few of the goals conceded seem to result from Roca and McKennie not tracking back.

Our full backs also seem to have forgotten how to defend and pick up men. Firpo had a shocker for a couple of goals and Rasmus was …..
