I can't make out the message either, even with enlarging it to maximum. Too blurred.

I'm sure if it was Lee being bought out completely there would be more of a fuss on BBS. Parekh may have bought an amount of Lee's shares but how many ? It seems to be emerging that the wealthy Parekh family that the press reported that Neerav Parekh was part of at the time of the takeover is not, in fact, the correct family.
Neerav obviously knew this and Gally, BBS owner, is claiming he was "in the know" from Day One. It's odd that no one has had the courtesy or professionalism for five years to correct this mis-information and let fans be blissfully unaware that the facts about the basis his wealth were wrongly stated. It was, in fact, another Parekh family that owned the various companies stated in the press.

It is left now for fans to speculate on Parekh's (or his family's) real wealth and whether it is sufficient to underwrite, let alone develop, a club looking to secure a place in the Championship. It is indeed an odd carry on that no one has corrected the initial reports and were content to string fans along believing the basis of Neerav Parekh's wealth. Neerav Parekh may indeed have a background leading him to be just as wealthy, or more wealthy, than the initial false reporting but it would be courteous and professional to let fans know if the club is in financially secure hands

Edit-- Sentence should read "Gally, BBS owner, is claiming he was in the know that this had been the situation from Day One". The way it reads above is Gally knew from Day One of the takeover, which he is not claiming. Apologies for that

With probably the biggest population in the world then not surprising there is another Neerav Parekh that is a CEO.
There is likely to be millions of Neerav Parekh in India.

However, the other one being spoken about and confused with our Neerav Parekh is the founding director of vPhase.
Newspapers got it right when they reported on our Neerav.

So I think we have the right Neerav.
Surely Paul Conway has got the right Neerav Parekh - and hasn’t appointed some chuffer to the board of directors at Barnsley that lives in a cardboard box in Mumbai 🤷🏻*♂️
You couldn’t make this up could yer 😂
Could only happen at Barnsley this.

When I spoke to him at that supporters meeting he said that his ‘uncles’ ran the family business.
But in India they call every bug.ger older themselves ‘uncle’ so that dunt mean owt.
I had to bite mi tongue at the time cos I was going to make a joke of it - I was going to say to him’‘are they your uncles, or are they your uncles?’ - but I thought I’d better not 😄

You don't know what/ who to believe do you.

In Post No 41 0f the BBS Chien Lee thread Gally, the BBS owner and big noise in the Supporters Trust says---

" The Press got the wrong guy when the takeover was announced. I've spoken to him (Neerav Parekh) about it"

    and yet you say Nudge--

" Newspapers got it right when they reported on our Neerav" and you have spoken to him about it.

I'm confused. I shall have to establish an inquiry led by Baroness Dido Harding into this to report in five months.

The bottom line is has the Neerav Parekh at Barnsley FC got his hands on enough brass to be able to underwrite any losses at Barnsley FC if the club falls into financial difficulties ? ----and has our Parekh the funds to prime pump the investment needed for structured progression in the Third Division and/or the Championship ?

And so it goes on in all it's enduring glory , the pantomime at Oakwell is now approaching it's 7th season and threatens to out run Agatha Christie's " Mouse Trap " in the West End .

Now we have a case of mistaken identity to add to the departed Ugly Sisters AKA Lee & PMG .

What next ? , Buttons JAQ is actually a representative for a US Real Estate Company looking for cheap land opportunities in Northern England .

I’m absolutely howling with laughter about this.
Firstly we had directors that have been labelled rob dogs.
And now the ship is being steered by a supposedly impostor and no one knows who he is.

    Luvvit

We were all sucked in by the news during the takeover that the new owners were multi billionaires.£ 8.5 billion combined wealth was being widely reported.

It would be a bugger if none of them were billionaires and it was all smoke and mirrors.

They haven't paid a penny yet from their own wealth to purchase the club five years after announcing the takeover. That does ring the odd alarm bell for me.

Or to put it another way , they've manufactured a position to own the club without paying for the club in full and the balance still owing is to be paid out of the club's own funds .

They've also increased their shareholding these last 9 months to boot .

The Crynes have sold the club without receiving full payment and have also had to increase their own shareholding most probably out of the funds they did receive for the club and to further add salt to the wounds they've got second division shares .

Maybe Parekh and JAQ increased their shareholding out of the funds handed over to them by the Crynes when they purchased more B shares .

Even fecking Martin Lewis couldn't keep tabs on this fiasco .

Has there been definitive information that Lee and Conway's shares have been bought up completely as some posters on BBS are posting in terms of them having gone from the club ? I have not seen that announced yet.

The word cessation was mentioned, regarding Chien Lee. And this I think roughly means stopping, or bringing something to an end!.
They (him and Conway & co) should never have been allowed to stay anyway, after what they did to the club. But hopefully this is the beginning of the end for them, and they could be gone soon!!. 🥳
