That is because the split has left say four teams needing 3 home 2 away and two needing 2 home 3 away leaving it impossible to give every team a 19:19 home away split. The first priority is the Equal home away splitting games if possible.

Can't happen. There is no discrepancy in the fixture split this year with the split leaving a balanced number of home and away games possible. Teams can play the same team 3 home 1 away or vice versa depending on the make up of the teams in the split but with the prime objective being an even split of home and away games all teams in the Premier League will get 19 home 19 away this season.

Only question is which of RC, Killie or Well we play three times away. On the odd occasion the split is so mixed up due to the occasions where an imbalance means a team or two can end up with an 18:20 or a 20:18 season that we could have been asked to go to more than one of them three times and played another team three times at home. Won't happen this year as the split us easier to organise. Fairness should point to us going to Motherwell for a third time and there is no reason whatsoever for this not to be the case.

The league table certainly suggest so. No idea what the Record are reporting then, unless I've picked it up wrong.

The reason it might not happen, is that Killie are due three home games and us two. So a simple swap would sort the 19/19 split. The only other option I can see is us going to Well a third time, and Saints to Killie a third time, as Well and Saints have a similar discrepancy. That's unfair on St. Johnstone though, so one way or another, one of us is getting shafted.

They have it wrong. They are confusing the situation like ours where the fixtures don't naturally fit with one of them supposed to go away four times the other four at home. They will sort it by switching fixtures like our situation to get to all teams having an even 19:19 season
