I don’t think Lai is going anywhere until he recoups his investment and in doing so bleeds the club dry. On the slim chance we get promoted to the Prem, all I can envisage is some limited investment in players combined with money outflowing to fund his failing businesses in China. We could be an embarrassment in the Prem next year … we could even be on to break Derby’s record of 11 pts.

Sadly the best option is for us to stay in the Champ, the club will go into free fall as no investment will come in. The protests will get louder and turn ugly. Only then will Lai realise he ain’t getting his money back and it’s not worth the aggravation.

Pretty bleak view … but until we get shot of Lai …. Things are not getting better …..
