There are people who haven’t travelled all season or paid into Dens getting tickets, maybe you need to direct your anger/hatred in a different direction
What about the people who travel to away games by car and are not a member of a Dundee FC supporters club.
The are left to queue up overnight to try to guarantee that they can attend the Queens Park match whilst a member of a Dundee FC supporters club do not have this inconvenience of having to sit out in the cold overnight.
I know that Dundee FC supporters who are non season ticket holders are treated like rubbish by the management of Dundee Football Club and now it looks like season tickets holders who are not a member of a Dundee supporters club are being treated as second class supporters.
Greg Fenton should be making an announcement and explaining why the information in the statement on the Dundee Football Club dated 29th April 2023 is wrong.
Alternatively Greg Fenton might decide to join his boss in the Gardyne bunker and wait for people to give up.

To be fair I'm not really too invested in this because I couldn't have gone on Friday if I wanted to and actually agree that if people have been travelling all season they deserve to get a ticket. However my main point is that travelling all season on an organised bus doesn't confer any additional entitlement to a ticket for any individual. It precludes those who travelled to every game by car or train for one thing.

I've been to five away games by car and train this season and am pretty certain that will be more than some who will get tickets via DSA. Others will have travelled to more than my five by car / train.

I'm certain some the clubs will have submitted all their season ticket numbers for all members who are season ticket holders, regardless of whether they intended going or not. I'm also certain that should some clubs have more tickets than season ticket holders that are actually able to go they won't return any tickets for fair distribution but will probably give them to non season ticket holding members.

The whole handling by the club, particularly in them giving in to DSA pressure, has been shambolic however that's not entirely the club's fault; had QP been reasonable the DSA could have got their usual scraps from the John Nelms table and there might have been enough tickets for other, just as loyal and committed, fans.

Those who go every week deserve tickets first imo, regardless if a dsa member or not.The thing is the club dont have a points system that some clubs have.I,m not getting at the club here as its not very often these circumstances come up.So those that travel by car or train are harder to identify as regular atendees.Never an easy way to sort it and pity queens park were not more accomodating.

And because they don't have such a system they should not have tried to botch one together at the last second but should have just made it first come first served to all season ticket holders.

Anyway, it is what it is. I only hope those that go aren't the usual boo boys that will get on the players' backs and start booing but get behind the team and drive them to a victory (**** going for a draw).

Eric the trust between fans that can actually see and the club was broken years ago.

DFC have no procedures.......make it up as they go along.

QP started this but DFC didn't help the situation.

Don't even know if I have a ticket yet but seriously starting to not care.

Like everything else DFC this was avoidable with quick decision making, leadership and truth.

    Everything has to be queried.

On Pravda it was stated that people were queueing up overnight to try to purchase a ticket for the Queens Park match.
The General Manager Greg Fenton should have ensured that the statement on the Club website was up to date and telling the truth.
Sadly I know to my cost that telling truth does not always happen with the management of Dundee Football Club.

How many tics and breakdown of their decision on distribution amounts......because there appears to be no procedure......ad hoc and secret meetings.

Bet it's no often your house gets broken into or god forbid goes on fire eric....but you will no doubt have house insurance.

    This is about planning.

This was looking like a possible scenario from Xmas for god's sake.

Pretty much my thoughts. Pressure applied by DSA and because there were no set procedures in place to justify rejection of their request the club just capitulated. No doubt a promise of some extra funds or purchase of extra hospitality days made by DSA too.

The total failure to explain why the tickets were priority allocated to some season ticket holders and not others is not a surprise. Linda the owl has maybe finally morphed into Linda the mute swan?

If the Peter Hitchens dark blues ever have tics to distribute for something, like maybe js 60th birthday party or some big event.....you will be 14th in line.......set in stone procedure......and no amount of begging will get you further up the list.😎
