A Pie 'N Pea supper is very much a thing up here. It can't have chips otherwise it would be pie and chips. The peas have to be mushy peas and it's seen as a light meal because there are no chips.
As I can't stand mushy peas and don't eat pies unless I've made them myself I honestly haven't a clue what the attraction is
