I was at the D4LIFE AGM, and as far as they concerned they wanted to continue with dialogue ,which does not exist with Nelms.

What is the alternative course of action that Dee4Life could take? Be interested what advice would help them with John Nelms.

Not get fobbed off with the monkey and stop appeasing and do what the members asked.

when you make a decision to sack a manager, especially a successful manager, all of the board should be consulted, and i dont believe
    this happened.
And walks into a job three days later

    Really?

Who do you think wasn’t consulted that should’ve been?

I was also at the Dee4life AGM on 19th November 2022.
I am fed up with the delaying tactics by the current Dee4life board of directors and that is why I resigned as a Dee4life director on 20th January 2023.
I know that the Dee4life board of directors sent a letter on 29th November 2022 to all the Dundee Football Club board of directors plus the DFC Ltd Company Secretary and the Dundee Football Club Secretary nominating their primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors.
A reply was received on 7th December 2022 signed ‘Dundee Football Club Ltd’ which gave the answer.
This was the same letter which stated DFCSS Director Douglas Tott barged into the Club’s premises, demanding a tour of the offices and he verbally chastised the staff throughout the tour’.
A total pack of lies but all the Dee4life directors at that time apart from the Chairman and Financial Director were more interested in not upsetting John Nelms than asking me if I was upset about the lies stated in the letter.
The secretary of the Dee4life board of directors posts on Dundee Mad so he should be telling the members who the Dee4life board of directors nominated as their primary representative and the full details of the reply they received.
This is the least that the Dee4life members and to quote the front page of their new website ‘The Global Dundee FC supporters which they represent’ deserve to receive.
There is no point withholding this information to try to have dialogue with Nelms because he will not answer awkward questions which he does not like but as managing director of Dundee Football Club Limited he should be answering.

Dundee Football Club Limited only have about two or three board of directors meetings per year.
Therefore it is possible that the other directors were not contacted.
However the Dundee supporters who purchase season tickets or purchase tickets for home games will never know as everything is a secret.
There has been to statement from John Nelms as managing director explaining to the supporters exactly what happened and his plans regarding the appointment of the new Dundee FC manager.

Nelms wants his hands on the all the A shares with their entrenched rights. FPS tried to purchase all of them in January 2019 for £8,000 later
increased to £10,000 when their true value based on FPS’s ‘debt for equity’ share transactions of 1.35p per share equated to over £208,000.
In my opinion the Dee4life board of directors should stop dithering and get their primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited.

Saying 'everything is a secret' sounds a bit dramatic. Nelms likes to keep confidential matters just that, confidential. If any one thing, or series of things, happened that caused Gary Bowyer to be sacked by John Nelms do we really need to know the details?

I personally don't care too much about the sacking, it happened so we move on. I am however concerned about the likely replacement; Nelms / Strachan have made some woeful decisions on that front and maybe got lucky when they stumbled over the competent Gary Bowyer. I hope they get their next decision right but hope is all I have, confidence in that is something I don't have.
