aye, theres a lot of it lately.

We have lost our way because we are a man down in midfield.

Willock plays better when Joelinton is out wide on the left, they have an understanding. We seem to be filling in where Longstaff is supposed

to be because we are short of midfield numbers. I dont think Wilson with Isaak out wide works.

Nothing has changed from yesterday, we still need 2 wins to be in the CL

Home ties against Brighton and Leicester will take care of that, Chelsea away is extremely winnable

especially on the last day of the season, they are all over the place, and when we play them, they will be on the beach.

Alright fellas, first post here in a long time.

Even if we don’t make the top 4 we’ve had a much better season than most of us thought possible last August. I hoped for top 10 and a cup run which i thought was quite optimistic at the time. We’re going to finish top 5 and we’ve contested a cup final! Incredible achievement from our manager, coaching staff and players.

The players undoubtedly look tired and a bit tense at the moment but that’s natural with the amount of games played and Champions League football in touching distance. We as fans have a massive part to play in the next two home games. We need to be loud, supportive and try not to be negative or nervy as that always transmits from the stands to the players. Brighton and Leicester will be tough games but they’re tougher games for them. Stick together and we’ll achieve big things. This season is just the start of our journey and we’ve already got the ‘big 6’ 🤮 worried.

If you’re going to post like that then you should more often. Bang on. It hasn’t been mentioned on here for a while but it remains true that our biggest disadvantage against the other good teams in the league is our squad depth and it’s perhaps not surprising that this problem should rear it’s head again at the end of a long season. It’s due to the years of Ashley transfer windows, it is what it is and wouldn’t have been solved by keeping Shelvey, for example.
We are on a journey to a level playing field with other clubs in the league and it’ll take some time to get there, not because of money to buy players but, because of FFP and because it takes time to integrate new players into a squad (see Chelsea).
So, this is a good thread. As supporters we need to take a step back and look how far we’ve come in a short time. It would be criminal for us to make Eddie and this team victims of their own success through being fickle and short sighted with our expectations.
