Post your suggestions with a video clip if possible.
Halestorm are a very good band. 'I Miss the Misery' got a lot of play on the music channels when 'The Strange Case of..." came out, and after buying that CD I quickly bought the earlier debut CD including the 'Familiar Taste of Poison' track you've listed.

I'm in retro mode at the moment. I never really paid much attention to The Distillers (another rock band with a female vocalist) when they were first around at the turn of the century, but twenty years later I've happened upon some of their stuff on YouTube and really like it, not least this one - 'Beat Your Heart Out' - which kicks some ass!

    An oldie here

Last album played, The Who - Live at Leeds

Still the best band I have ever seen live.
Saw them at Charlton and Swansea football grounds in 1976

There's no substitute for a bit of The Who.

Brody Dalle, didn't she marry Josh Homme?

She did, but it all ended in acrimony and restraining orders. The rock star lifestyle and parenthood are not always compatible!

She's also half sister to the comedian Morgana Robinson, not that it has any relevance here.

Sorry Jeekay, but a horrible discriminatory thread. Ban the banjo????? I will ignore the rules and offer this one. Pure genius with a bit of whistling, finger clicking, a banjo and a cello. Apparently classed as 'bluegrass folk'. I'm trying to persuade the kids this should be my funeral song:
