Completely agree it gives options for the pair of them to break up play and distribute. Teams had a lot of success last season by simply shutting Bruno down.

With the addition option of an 2nd elite level baller who does it all, with similar engine in the midfield as Bruno teams aren't gonna have the midfield quality to handle that. Throw in Szoboszlai for additional attacking muscle at home to unlock stubborn defensive ranks or a J7 to smash teams when we're on the road and give the guys some more protection or the Nmecha fella for athleticism or Longy or Willock to flash 30yards with the outside of his boot and we're gonna be a frightening proposition next season indeed!

No.18 for Italy tonight , attacking left side midfield role, looks solid, bit of flair too. Merino was just subbed off for Spain, Joselu on the bench

Trying desperately not to build my hopes up here. What a signing this would be to get the snowball rolling. Interchanging with Bruno in midfield. WOW.

Looking at the sources, the more reputable ones are suggesting there's not a lot in it at the moment whilst it's the Twitter bullsh!ters making all the noise. I wish they'd just post 'Look at me, look at me' and be done with it.

Aye - although I'm clinging to hope that this happened with Botman, lots of "not happening" from usual good sources and then . . . bam - he was ours.

Oh, aye, I'm definitely not discounting it but the way we do business now, none of the journos know what's going on and the ITKs are even more full of shit than usual.

I like the way the club are after (in the press) several world class midfielders. It seems like we’ve turned the tables on agents and are saying ’ if you/your player p*sses about we have other options’. In the past players which we were after’s agents would play us off against other clubs. Take a bow Mr Ashworth - we do things differently now.
