I really respected him for being the good coach that he is, and for giving us the season we've just had. And now that's quite literally, all gone up the swanny.
Loyalty in football went out of the window in around 1975 Acido. I suppose he's doing what he thinks is best for him and his family and that will always be a breadwinner's priority. How's about Darren Moore?

You can never believe anything any football manager says. You wouldn't believe the crap Coyle was coming out with before he jumped ship to Bolton. He actually said that if he wanted to sign a player and that player mentioned money, he wouldn't sign him, Then he jumped ship to the first club that made him a better offer.

Duff is good at what he does, and we were all confident of automatic promotion from Lg One this time. And I'm sure he would have had a lot more offers then, from bigger and better clubs than Swansea.
So it wasn't as though he desperately needed this move, at this moment in time.
But I also can't help think that maybe something has gone off behind the scenes with him and our owners, an argument or broken promises etc.

All lower league managers are trying to scramble up the greasy pole, they have to take every opportunity that comes their way. It's not like that with Vinni, he knows the City job will come his way, he's simply preparing himself now for when it does and he's in an ideal situation, fully in chsrge of a club with only modest ambitions, no real pressure to get results like there would be at somewhere like Spurs, so why would he move ? Burnley is perfect for him.

Wouldn't surprise me if when he has his little chats with Pep he's saying, don't go yet, I like it here.

Yeah it seems that loyalty is a naive and very outdated thing these days Beds kid lol.
Daz Moore ehh, well for a start I think it's awful what the Fowls have done to him. If be pleased if we went for him, and it helps more that he used to play for us and was a likeable professional. 👍
