This is exactly the type of player we need rid of but the money has to be right, if this is a £4m to £5m job the bloke who’s taken over from Gourlay needs shooting.

Even though I don’t personally rate O’Shea Kompany obviously does so that means they need to pay.

This needs to be a £15m+ sale plus add on’s.
There is absolutely no way we'll get that kind of cash. If we get half we're doing well.

I think he's a steady defender. Obviously professional and reads the game well, quite decent on the ball.

But as others have alluded to, he's not the biggest CH. And he's also not the quickest.

If the cash is right, I don't think its the worst move for either party. We do seem to be overloaded with centre halves. Caleb Taylor looks like a better prospect than O'Shea at the same age and has just come off a successful League 1 loan. so I wouldn't be averse to giving him a go. Alongside a Bartley or Ajayi for next season.

Undisclosed fees shouldn’t be allowed for a U.K. Limited Company.

All player transaction fees including the actual transfer fee should be a matter of public record.

Won’t don’t you take 500 grand of sales from your company Mick and enter text in your returns/accounts - undisclosed sales! See how far it gets you!

One rule for the little man and another for football clubs and c unts like Amazon!

Hope Lai chokes on the money - literally!

If we can get a decent fee for O’ Shea, all well and good, as long as the money doesn’t go into Lai’s pocket! That is a big worry. If the money is invested in the squad, then fair enough. Caleb Taylor looks the real deal plus Kipre, Ajaye and possibly Bartley, then we should be OK.

Why wouldn’t it go in Lai’s pockets? Everything else has and the loan is costing us 50 grand a week in interest! Any responsible person would pay off the loan but it’s not going to happen!

Realism - Lai will bleed the club dry as the fans are like dog s hit on his shoe to him!

Well the season just finished could turn out to be the highlight of the club for some years to come. I think with the publicity the club is getting presently, nobody is going to give us more then a few peanuts for any player. I can see the Turkish guy been gone fairly quickly and can't blame him.
Any quality we have will be gone soon.

Only way for Lai to take notice is if fans vote with their feet …. But won’t happen. Protests, light waving, letters to MPs, tea at Downing Street won’t matter a jot to Lai if the gate money is coming in. Have made a pledge not to buy another season ticket until Lai is gone.

£7 Million quid. Peanuts by todays standards. Should be 10 at least.
