I'm not surprised they are confident after how they finished last season and who they have signed! Just looked at the betting odds for the winner and distant 2nd favourite is Oldham at 9/1, with Rochdale after them (and we all know relegated sides rarely go back up immediately as champions). Doesn't look like they have much competition hence their 5/2

Not sure if this is how it works, but if we sold 4,000 season tickets last year, and our average attendance was 8,000, i.e. double that of S/T sales, having now sold 5,600 season tickets so far can we be expecting our average attendance to be around 11,000 this coming season.

Maybe some of the 8,000 bought season tickets which is why we've sold 5,600. Having said that the attendances ought to be higher with bigger away followers.

Sadly I suspect that's not how it works. I would imagine that the increased ST sales predominantly come out of the section of the fanbase who went most weeks anyway and paid on the day, so in effect out of the grouping (number) and into the increased ST grouping. Naturally it's preferable to have those as ST holders for all the obvious reasons.

Unlike ST holders, the match day posse will fluctuate noticeably depending on how we do, results on the pitch, perfomances and style of play.

As you would expect away supporter numbers will increase significantly.

If we could average 10,000 this season that would be absolutely fantastic, this is tier 4 after all.

Thank you once again for purchasing a 2023-24 season ticket. Not long to go now!

We're writing to let you know that season cards will be posted in batches over the next fortnight, starting Monday 17 July, to all supporters who selected 'delivery'. If you have not received your card by Monday 31 July, please email [email protected].

Supporters who chose to collect will be able to do so from our club shop from 9am tomorrow. If you've purchased an age-related season ticket and have never previously submitted ID, please bring ID with you so we can update your records.

If you're unsure whether you selected delivery or postage, or if you'd like to change how you receive your card, please email [email protected].

    Any questions?

With phone lines expected to be busy between now and the start of the season as match tickets go on sale, we advise supporters with any season ticket-related queries to submit them via email to [email protected].

Designated members of staff will be on hand to deal with season ticket communications and will respond via email or phone ASAP.

My ST has just arrived, one of the benefits is the chance to 'Bring a friend to one of two matches for only £1'.

I just need to find a friend now.

Anyone seen any mention of the Apple/Android digital wallet tickets that never materialised last year?

Saying that, you can just take a photo on your phone of your ST barcode and use that to get in.
