Funniest thing I have heard all day! It will never happen, we have nowt to spend and only going to sell more before we buy

Carlos wanted players in when we are at St George’s Park doing pre season training, they are there training now, incomings… nil
    Are we surprised?

This has been a financially well run club for years. Not so long ago we were one of the only clubs in the Prem that was actually in the black. We all know that some clubs have become unhinged by overspending but PLEASE why do we never stick the head out of the shell just a little and spend SOMETHING that might make a difference. Year in and year out of little activity really catches up in the end. We haven’t exactly brought in great loan deals either. Very mediocre generally.

There was certainly a period of time under Peace's ownership when we were doing quite well in the Prem, the finances-as you say-were the envy of many but the club was unwilling to put money into bringing in better players to push on forward. Missed opportunity and these days seem long gone now 😞

No, same old, same old and not unexpected with the current ownership.

ALL transfers should be done before the season kicks off………end of!

January transfer window should be scrapped.

Teams should be forced to lay their hand down pre season and then if they get injuries or loss of form that’s what the squad and the under 21 and youth side is for, it gives kids more of a chance.

Each team should be given a salary cap and a spending cap as well.

Even if you can’t stand the NFL their system is far fairer, richer teams cannot spend more.

The way they do things means that you can be the whipping boys one season and two or three years later you can be the best team.

Their system relies more on good selection of draft choices on youngsters and very astute acquisitions of players transferring teams, you cannot buy success.
Possibly the most sense you have ever made Mick!

I totally agree with this, it would definitely make the gulf smaller and would be much more interesting.

Plus like you say would have to involve more youth players too.

I guess this will never happen though as FIFA is possibly the most corrupt organisation, with exception to our owners!

Who will score the goals as Asante won’t get more than 10 at most? Dike could get a few from January 24
