Luton's chairman has said they knew what would need to be done to the ground if they got promoted and they had all the resources in place to start the work immediately after the playoffs.
He said they had 14 weeks to complete the work which he knew was ambitious but was confident it could be achieved. It seems his confidence may have been misplaced which is hardly surprising considering the scale of work involved.
Quite a few pundits suggested that Luton may need to ground share for a while, maybe even for the whole season but their chairman said they had no plans to do that. Time will tell.

I remember a report on Sheffield United when they returned to the premiership. The had to spend £5m on their media facilities.

I think the majority of the changes relate to TV. Every time I've watched a game from Kennilworth Road recently I've had vertigo/felt seasick due to the fact they have such a steep camera angle when the ball was on the camera side.

There are requirements regarding the media facilities too which are expected to house way more than if you were in the championship and have the tech in place that allows them to do their job in today's world .

Presumably the days of the old notebook , pencil and a telephone are well gone .

Image is king today with the PL broadcast to millions around the world and the amount of money other country's as well as here are forking out .
Yes, on that footing it does seem that image is king animal. UTM

Thanks for that mellow, and yes time will tell, and I'd imagine it will be anxious times at Luton after the euphoria of promotion. UTM

Luton Town chief executive has said, with extra seating over 1,000 being installed at Luton,
it will mean that AFCBournemouth will still be the smallest ground to accommodate fans in
    the premier league.

Don't worry, I'm sure when it's our turn, I'm sure we'll be OK.

I’ve heard on the grapevine that the players tunnel will be suitably widened in time for our centennial in 2025
