According to 11v11 today’s the third time we’ve beaten them up there in the league since 1955...he said breaking his own ‘law’. Either way...another pleasing win and we remain in a good position.

You have the advantage there. Only saw the ‘highlights’. Daft penalty but well taken, no stopping those...both managers seemed very downbeat afterwards.

We won, thats all that matters in this league. Pretty football can wait until we are out of it as far as I'm concerned.

Really sad to see the reason Josh Vickers wasn't in the squad, has lost his wife to cancer.

    Tragic.

    Indeed, tragic circumstances.

On the game, only listened to the commentary, they didn't half moan about the way we played. I'll take a disgusting 2-0 away victory anytime thank you, worry about how pleasing it is on the eye when we're in the PL with no expectation of winning anything.

Good opening 20 and we went 1 up. That saw them change shape and get into the game more. As usual, there were no discernible reactions to the opposition changing things. Becoming a theme and one we need to lose. They were the better side for the next 50 minutes. They played well and we tried to force passes that weren't on and it showed. Last 15 we started to get the counters right again and looked like we would get a 2nd. Step up Collo. Chase the ball, get there before the keeper and wait for the contact. Down we go. Ref had no real choice. Keeper got nowhere near the ball because Collo got there quicker. With my refs hat on. correct decision. Collo took the penalty well, hit hard and high and gave the keeper no chance.

We defended well. Collo got MOTM but it could just as easily been Cash, Nelson, Nyambe (solid debut) or Wildsmith.

    What's a penalty?

It's something I thought you were worried about the EFL giving you?
