Pivotal time for the club this. Going to be a rocky 2-3 years until things settle a little I suspect.
    Eh?
He’s just signed a new contract.

    My thoughts exactly..

Bruno has lost faith in the "project" so signs a new contract with the club to keep him here longer..

    Makes sense

Contracts are meaningless, he can leave if a club activates his release clause and he wants to go. It’s the higher monthly salary that he’s negotiated until he leaves. He can also use that in his next move,he wouldn’t go to a club for less monthly salary would he. He’s got all his bases covered, new club salary, transfer if he wants it, just a matter of time. If we don’t get into Europe next season that could be his legitimate reason to leave. I hope there’s a clause stopping him from going to the scousers though !

Bruno has personal trainers, a personal performance analyst and is a 100% totally dedicated professional, that`s how he operates. A couple of poor games and an on off the cuff response to some unjustified criticism doesn`t change the fact he`s one of the best midfielders in the world. His family are here and happy, long may it continue. I keep saying it but let`s see where we are by xmas. Top 6 and 2 wins in the CL would be solid.
