    What’s wrong with that?
That’s the problem now everyone is looking to be offended on someone else’s behalf.
He gave an honest opinion I bet loads more agree but won’t dare say so because of cancel culture.
    Fair play to him.
Isnt, 'Passing their judgement on mens football' having an opinion? because that's what you said he said in your opening, but now you say he said "He doesn't like listening to them" which is a different discussion. UTM

he is entitled to his opinion, if he is asked a question he should be allowed to be honest without being persicuted for it, it is called free speech and something we seem to think is only ok as long as the person says something that the authorities think is ok, not a road to go down.
I don't agree with him personally, I think professional female footballers know enough about the game to have a valid opinion on games played by both male and female. It isn't about someones *** it is about their knowledge and ability to communicate that knowledge that makes a pundit or commentator any good, I am sure Rio Ferdinand knows a lot about football, but his communication skills are shocking and so he comes across as a little bit thick, but he is a famous ex-footballer so he gets a job, hardly a meritocracy

My take on this is.if they are good at it and got the gig on how good they are then I have no problem with it all,Jaqui Oakley has been doing a longtime started on five live years ago perhaps long before the woke and inclusion era.and she is knowledgable and good at it.sue smith is more of a pundit but she is enthusiastic and knows what she is saying.. Pien Meulens**** is another good one and good at her job commentating..men or woman they are good at it…

However there are some what have been shoehorned in and clearly are good enough to commentate or pundit and are there just for tick box and it’s then I don’t like, for balance there are some men who I don’t like either..

To sum up they should be there on merits is my view, like BAME football managers and the Rooney rule got at least interview one BAME candidate.is just ludicrous that it really is.again should be on merit.

It is the globalist diversity led control freaks who are running the mainstream media, that are causing all this nonsense.Keegan said nothing wrong at all.

Keegan gives his honest opinion and is freely aired over many platforms.

Many people stroongly disagree and air their honest opinions over many platforms.

    Free speech innit?

Agreed so he should be able to carry on with his TV work and not get cancelled?

    Has he got TV work?

TV companies are private companies by and large - they will do whatever it takes to keep the largrest customer/viewing base in a market driven area. If they feel that one of their staff has alienated their customer/viewers and that as a result they will lose money, they will replace him with someone that brings the viewing numbers back up again. That's their right to do that as a private enterprise operating in a free market.

I would advise pro Keegan viewers to get in touch with his TV company expressing their support to try and make it clear that they support his comments and value his views in order to sway them and counter the negative reaction. It's a free speech world and we all have a say, despite what culture warriers like to think. The alternative seems to be political intervention to force a TV company to keep someone who is causing some of their supporters/advertisers to switch off, which seems very sinister to me.

I personally think Keegan's comments are a reasonably expressed point of view. I think one of the problems many female commentators are pointing to with frustration is that whenever comments like this are made, it tangibly increases neandethalls on twitter to go directly on the attack to women working in those positions, as a direct result. So I can understand their frustration.

But back in the real world. He will get cancelled because of the outcry from a minority.
I can’t comment on the Neanderthals as you call them but I would guess that if you dare to put your head above the parapet and agree with him you will be called the said Neanderthal.
    It’s the done thing.

Let me be clear Netty, I am not calling people who agree with Keegan neanderthals. Far from it. I am using that term for those who see fit to go online and offer vile abuse at female presenters and commentators, that's all. Need to be clear on that

    Wasn’t suggesting you were raging.
My simplistic view is that people nowadays call it something so they can control it.

    ***ist
    Racism
    Transphobia
    Some examples.
All stuff that is 100% wrong imo however if you comment on any of the above and it doesn’t fit the narrative you will be classed as one of the above.

It’s controlled by a certain group of people to ensure we all fit into their narrative. It’s not debatable anymore. You are categorised and ostracised.
