What's happened to Jack Grealish ? He was a breath of fresh air when he first got into the team, the one player who would run at the opposition, take people on, the only player whose default mode wasn't to turn back to the halfway line. Not any more, now he's just like the others, sideways or back to the halfway line his preferred option. Has Gareth actually told him to stop taking people on, it certainly looks like it.

Henderson is a role model apparently and Gareth can’t see the logic of anyone booing someone who took a stand (or is that a knee?) against discrimination but is now playing in Saudi Arabia where discrimination is part of their religion.

He does it all the time, he turns talented attacking footballers into cautious midfielders like he used to be himself, overcautious and boring.

Could anyone explain why Henderson was actually playing, this was an ideal opportunity to give a younger player some experience wasn't it ? I sometimes think the woke idiot does it on purpose, just to piss the normal people off.

We watched the game in our favourite Sports Bar. The abuse Southgate was getting was heartwarming.

We stay at the Barcelo Beach hotel which is fabulous and the Corner House gets our undivided patronage for the big games. We are rather fond of this part of the world army88, so much so we will be having another 2 weeks here in May God willing.
