The people I feel sorry for are us, the fans. We did not deserve to be relegated, and Everton's fans do not deserve to be made to suffer like this. Can we not find a suitable punishment that does not penalise the fans?

That is a suitable punishment for Everton fans ..Everton should have been docked these points last season or before. No doubt they will mange to stay up or will be given a lesser deduction if they choose to object..
Don't feel sorry for the fans when their club has decided to cheat for years.

Dyche will keep the Toffees up and no mistake.

I want to see if the EPL/FA/FIFA conglomerate have the correctly sized cojones to go after Chelsea and Manchester City.

BT, as you are well aware, money talks! Of the three teams mentioned, two have money and the other one has been docked 10 points at the moment.
The case against City has been going on for ages, whereas Chelsea have not been charged with anything up until now.

City employ lawyers who can run rings round anyone the football authorities can afford to employ.

I seriously think this could be the straw that breaks the camels back - they simply can’t do that to Everton and not follow it through with others even if it is City - Chelsea and the like.

The figures are the figures and if they don’t add up they’re fecked.

I know we’ve debated this before but as I posted the other week , clubs like us Leeds and Leicester - forest don’t pursue legal action without substance/ proof behind the accusations I’d say that is what had forced the Premier league to take action as how poor would that look if clubs had / knew the figures and had proof but the league did nothing.

The bigger problem they have is city who won everything and probably also broke FFP - now that is a can of worms to open.

If the allegations against Man City are true they should be relegated to the National League pour encourager les autres. Rules need to be upheld regardless of the teams involved

Agree Alf 100% - cheating barstads from the top down inc their players and fans, had us relegated and we suffered and not them, and I have zero sympathy.
