True in a sense, but Paul Davies seems to know when a manager has turned us down and I can't imagine that been stuck on a piece of bread! The word ''understands'' seems to prefix most of this BS which suggests it has come from ,and here we go again in the cliche top 40,''other sources''! I'm loving it.It'll be boring once we have a new manager and, lets not forget, this matters to about 0.000000000001% of the population!

It isn't easy when you are let down by your first choice and then again by the next. From what is said on here it looks like we had Wilder lined up and you can understand why he backed away once he was tapped up. That would have put the club in a difficult situation, especially as TS was going away. You could argue that is poor planning as you should always have a plan B in place ready to go. I think some of the early TS communications were a reaction to the Wilder situation and so TS who is not the greatest with the press didn't help with his honest but unfortunate statements. I do think the communications from that point have been sparse and could of been better, but they are what they are and let us be honest communication has never been a strong point at RUFC, so are we really surprised.

I think TS and rufc should be commended at the managers who have considered and turned us down.
It would have been wilder if not for sheff u. GR and MW have been interviewed and Nathan Jones has watched 2 games so was obv interested..
If the timing was right Warnock would have come back evan Evans took in a few games..
Richardson has been to the Leeds and Birmingham games, not sure if he watched the Watford game. These are only the names we know about. Think TS and rufc need a break from the bad mouthing

I don't expect a minute by minute commentary in how the new manager selection process is going but surely, someone, (is someone employed to communicate ?) should be keeping us, the paying supporters, updated, - even if there isn't any material changes to report on.

Losing all faith in the running of RUFC - please stop bull****ting us Mr. Stewart.
Twitch, here's your answer why you've not been contacted.

Wilder, Rowett and Jones all gave back word pissing big T off, hence the delay in rolling out our final choice of Manager. I know some fans demanded to know why the club haven't kept us informed on what was happening. Well when you've tried to sign 3 Managers and they all give back word, there's your answer.

All this took up valuable time in securing a Manager so how are the club suppose to relay this to demanding fans for an update?

As Michael winner use to say, 'Calm down dear it's only a commercial'

I don't get all this 'We need to know more'...'the board aren't keeping us updated'.

If you understand business meetings between potential managerial signings etc, then they have to be respected and will remain private no matter how many bang on the door wanting to know more. Yes it's frustrating but that is business.

If you knew how Tony and the board have been treated by so called potential Managers you would understand why nothing could have been passed on to the fans, that would clearly show how hard they have tried to get their potential target(s) in. Professionalism has to remain in place from all parties. Start to disclose X or X really messed us about and you are soon tarnished as an owner and Tony would not allow that to happen.

Yes, it doesn't read well nothing has been announced as of yet but be rest assured this has been treated with the upmost respect by the club, it's those who have given back word on the 11th hour who have created this ill feeling of late between the fans and the board and I for one do not blame Tony Stewart or the board.

We will re group, we will move on. The main factor is, we still have a club that is very well run and admired in the English football leagues. UTM!
