I agree with TF.THB is an odd one but Tella and Maatsen I can understand.

We've been unlucky with Foster and now Koleosho but what has happened to Zaroury? He did well last season but he has hardly featured
this season.Maybe it would have been better if we had had another season in the Championship, but as it stands it's looking like we may well
be back down there next season. At least I could be going to games in Cardiff,Swansea and Bristol and hopefully have the chance of meeting
    some of our fans.

Benson is the one I cannot understand. He was the verified match winner in many games last season. He doesn`t even get on the team sheet nowadays.

The Blades and Luton had all their own players. Our team from last season was built on loan players who for whatever reason were not signed by the club.We have basically started from scratch with the same experienced players who are yet another year older and therefore it was always going to be possible that this would happen.
Add to that Foster going AWOL and injuries to Beyer,Koleoscho and others and we are left in some games playing with even weaker squads.Enough said.We are goiing back to the Championship and I for one am not too bothered about it.Bye VAR,bye cheats rolling around in agony and bye all the plastic superstars.
I actually think we will finish bottom.Luton are looking better every week. The Blades are having the new manager bounce and we are treading water because we have nobody who can put the ball in the onion bag.How we ended up starting a season in the PL with only one recognised striker and an ageing JRod is beyond me.

For whatever reason CiB, Vinni didn't really rate him last season, he only started him in 13 out of 46 league games.

The mystery of what's happened to Benson and Zaroury I find most worrisome. Benson was one of the few players capable of beating a man consistently and finishing with a good shot. Zaroury seems to have lost all cconfidence, very puzzling.

Just my opinion, but with Benson it seems to me to be a physical/fitness issue, he's easily kicked out of games and opposition full backs know this and take advantage, I read last season that Vinni had told our defenders not to be afraid to give him a whack or two in training in an attempt to toughen him up, whether this is true or not I don't know, but Vinni had clearly decided he was bettar used as an impact sub, rather than a starter, long before the end of the season.

Zaroury was brilliant before he went to the World Cup, he came back a different player, whether playing in a WC semi-final went to his head, Billy Big Bollox syndrome, I don't know, but he's not been the same player since and Vinni seems to have lost faith in him. With all the wingers we have now it's hard to see a way back for him, I would think he's a likely candidate to be loaned out and sold in summer. Such a shame, he was instrumental in our destruction of Blackburn on't Turf last season, a joy to watch that day, but I think he might be lost to us now. What a difference a year can make.
