Our current CB are no real comparisons to Mee and Tarky… different class. But they were gone before VK came along and he probably would have thought they were not good enough with the ball anyway.

Ben might be a bit limited Will, but Tarkovsky is an excellent footballing centre-half, good enough even to play midfield, which I've seen him do. I'm still bemused as to why Gareth continues to ignore him and pick lesser players in his England squad, but that's Gareth, I've long since given hope of understanding what goes on between his ears.
